When purchasing and therefore downloading any images from AWIL you are granted a standard licence to use this image. This licence grants you the following rights and restrictions according to the type of download purchased.

LOW RESOLUTION DOWNLOAD RIGHTS:

Online and digital use: may be used for websites, online advertising, social media platforms, e-publications, email marketing and blogs.

Commercial and personal use: May be used for both commercial and personal purposes.

Editing: Image may be cropped to suit application’s.

Agencies: The images may be used by website builders, social media managers, and marketing agencies but are required to purchase a licence on behalf of their client, not for the agency itself. This ensures that the licence is correctly attributed to the end client who will be the ultimate beneficiary of the images. Additionally, a new licence must be purchased for any new client wishing to use the same image, ensuring proper usage rights are maintained for each individual client.

LOW RESOLUTION DOWNLOAD RESTRICTIONS:

No printing or high resolution applications: The images cannot be used in any context requiring high resolution.

No media publication use: Low resolution images are not permitted for use in magazines, newspapers, or other media publications without permission.

Advertising: Images can only be used for editorial purposes, not for selling products or services directly nor use them as your logo, design, or trademark.

No redistribution: Cannot be resold, uploaded to file-sharing sites, or redistributed in any form. Can only be used by the company or person listed as as the licensee.

HIGH RESOLUTION DOWNLOAD RIGHTS:

Low resolutionu use: May be used in all low resolution applications as stated above.

High resolution use: Images may be printed for any high resolution application up to 120 x 80cm. AWIL must approve any application greater than this size.

Print media: Use for editoral purposes for magazines, books, and other print media but Anna Wilshire must be credited with the photo.
